Our image, and our Thought Process

I was reading through my local newspaper yesterday. I flipped to where they have a few political cartoons. Sure enough, I found another cartoon about patriotism. Below we see George Bush standing among the tattered image of the United States: Katrina, the war, our recessing economy. But everything is OK because he is wearing a flag lapel pin. And sadly I feel this is the thought process of most Americans.
